In Akasaka, Rakuraku has been a pillar of modern Korean fusion dishes for 22 years. Specializing in yakiniku, it has made a name for itself with its bulgogi, or Korean-style marinated beef. Differing from regular sukiyaki, or Japanese-style meat soup, Rakuraku’s bulgogi is made by adding marinated meats to flavored soup, all topped off with various vegetables. The flavor is not as sweet as sukiyaki,; customers never tire of it. The ingredients used in the dishes are of the highest quality available in both Korea and Japan. The mushrooms used in the bulgogi are from the renowed Hukusima region; the rice is of the same brand that the royal family of Japan consumes; and kimchi is always flavored with fresh oysters. Apart from bulgogi, seafood dishes are also notable. The most popular of these are sauteed spicy octopus and baby squid.
