The Owner, who has been teaching Korean cuisine in Japan for over 30 years at the Hattori Culinary School, is the proud owner of Mugunghwa. Known for her strict teachings that bring out the rich tastes of Korean cuisine, the dishes of Mugunghwa showcase the true talents of a master. The basics of this restaurant are to never use artificial preservatives and to prepare freshly obtained ingredients. Although some call Korean palace cuisine bland in that it uses less sauce and seasoning than other styles of Korean cooking, Mugunghwa’s foods allow customers to enjoy the innate taste of each ingredient. Shin, who prepared the food for her own wedding, shows her eagerness to spread the goodness of Korean cuisine with a cooking class held at the restaurant every third weekend of the month. The simple interior is more appropriate for a comfortable visit than a fancy business dinner.
